Verification of Precast Concrete Girder Bridge Under Static Load

Abstract Large-scale construction of transport infrastructure inevitably includes the new bridges. During design process, many assumptions and simplifications are taken into account. Therefore, verification structural response bridges is necessary. One possible tests a proof-load test which can detect certain problems investigated structures. The paper introduces numerical experimental analysis bridge, located on Slovak Highway D1, section Hricovske Podhradie – Lietavska Lucka. verified bridge four-span continuous structure with total length 129.4 m. representative typical precast girder adopted for highways. superstructure consists eight post-tensioned I-beams. load test, predicted was to check any unusual behaviour. Finally, recorded data summarised report distributed all subcontractors owner. This information may help in further management program.
